ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF POSITION
The Borough of Carnegie is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Full-Time Administrative Secretary. The successful applicant will perform a wide range of duties as directed by the Borough Manager in a fast-paced municipal environment. This position will be responsible for skilled clerical, confidential, and administrative work. Grant research and writing experience is required as part of this position.
Strong mass communication and computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint) are essential. Experience in QuickBooks and general accounting procedures are preferred. The applicant must have the ability to work independently in the absence of specific instructions. Establishing working relationships with associates and the general public will be part of this position. Hours will include a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
