Township Manager

 

The Township of Robinson, Allegheny County, is currently recruiting for the position of Township Manager.  Robinson has a population of 13,500 and an annual budget of approximately 14 million dollars. The manager provides daily supervision and oversight for the departments of administration, finance, planning, police, public works, zoning, code enforcement, and parks and recreation.  The position works closely with the Board of Commissioners in developing and implementing policies and procedures. A master’s degree in public administration or a related field and five years of management experience in a local government organization is preferred.  A combination of education and experience may be considered in the review. The successful candidate shall have proven experience in budgeting, labor relations, collective bargaining, grant writing, and project management and board relations.  The candidate shall also possess excellent verbal, interpersonal, written communication and computer technology skills.  Salary is DOQ with a comprehensive benefit package.  Email cover letter, resume and three professional references and compensation expectations to Jeff Silka, Township Manager at manager17@townshipofrobinson.com by October 25, 2017.
